600V 500 750 MCM Monopolar Copper Conductor XLPE Insulated XTU Cable

 

Standards and Specifications

TTU Cables are manufactured under the following standards:

ASTM B3,. Soft copper wire.

ASTM B8, Concentric Lay Stranded copper conductors

ASTM B787, 19 Wire Combination Unilay Stranded Copper conductors for subsequent insulation.

UL 1581, NET-3203. Reference Standard for Electrical Wires, Cables and Flexible Cords.

ICEA S-95-658, Power Cables rated 2000 volts or less for the Distribution of Electrical Energy.

Note: We can also produce the TTU cables as your request.

 

Construction

Conductor

Compressed Stranded Soft copper

Insulation:

Thermoplastic Polyethylene(PE 75°C),for PE-PVC.

Cross Linked Polyethylene(XLPE 90°C),for XLPE-PVC.

Options:

Aluminum Conductor, PVC-LS (Low smoke emissions) jacket and PVC(Sunlight resistant) jacket

For sizes greater than 1/0 AWG, Type Tray Cable (TC).

Application
Primary power and distribution circuits in industrial, commercial and power circuit generating plants. 

Installation
XTMU cables may be installed in wet or dry locations at maximum operating temperature of 90° C on the conductor for normal operation; 130° C for emergency and 250° C for short circuit conditions.
