It may be used in wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90°C.
XHHW-2 copper conductors are annealed (soft) copper. Insulation is an abrasion, moisture, and heat resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLP).
Voltage rating for XHHW-2 conductors is 600 volts
Technical Data
Sizes 14, 12, and 10 AWG available in black, white, red, blue, yellow, green, orange, brown, purple, and gray.
Conductor sizes 2 AWG and larger listed and marked sunlight resistant in black only.
XHHW-2 copper conductors are also available in sizes 1/0 AWG and larger rated for cable tray use and sunlight resistant.
