Application:
THHN THWN-2 MTW cables are manufactured with annealed (soft) copper conductors and tough, heat- and moisture-resistant thermoplastic polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation.AWG 14 (19) through AWG 4/0 (19) sizes are manufactured with a combination of single-layer strands; all other stranded sizes are manufactured with compression strands. Construction colors are available in black, white, red, blue, green, yellow, brown, orange, and gray. Some colors are subject to economic ordering.
THHN THWN-2 MTW - (UL) - For use in dry locations at temperatures up to 90°C. For gasoline- and oil-resistant II applications, temperatures up to 75°C. MTW (UL) - For use in dry locations at temperatures up to 90°C. For gasoline- and oil-resistant II applications, temperatures up to 60°C. T90 Nylon c (UL) - The cables are primarily intended for installation in ducts (raceways) as bare wires in dry locations at temperatures not exceeding 90°C. TWN75 c(UL) - For use in wet or dry locations not exceeding 75°C. Maximum voltage rating for all intended applications is 600 volts. Minimum installation handling temperature limited to -25°C. Minimum operating temperature limited to -40°C.
